Elegance

I cannot speak more highly of the service we got from the Australian staff. They advised us on how to have a great time with the time we had, as we were looking at a longer trip but was advised that we would not have enough time to explore the town's on the way. Would book a bigger boat next time as it was a bit small as one passenger was over six foot. Would be better if the was at least one 240volt outlet that works of a inverter will not in port.

We booked our trip through Le Boat AU and the service and advice provided was first class. We did a canal boat trip with Le Boat which originated in Migennes. Whilst we had to change our plans mid trip due to the high levels of water in the river Yonne, the Migennes Le Boat team were fantastic in helping and advising us where to go. We ended up spending a portion of our time on the canal de Bourgogne and enjoyed the whole experience. The boat we had (Elegance) was well equipped and comfortable for our trip. I would thoroughly recommend doing a canal boat trip with Le Boat, especially out of Migennes.

Another wonderful experience from first contact through turning in the boat. We have found in every country, LeBoat has been our preferred method to explore a region. This trip was no exception. We plotted peak tulip day over many years and scheduled that for the middle day. Our provided maps were correctly annotated. We subscribe to Waterkaart and Waterkaart Live, since Nieuwpoort, Belgium. There were new updates the morning of departure, which we downloaded over LeBoat Wifi. With two full weeks and enough activites planned for four, we were busy the entire time. LeBoat suggested marinas were ideally located..

A very warm welcome from the team. The boat and on-boarding were both excellent and we had no trouble navigating. The location is beautiful and we all had a lovely time.

Great October holiday break on the Caledonian Canal with 4 teenagers! Everyone at Le Boat was great, the boat was brilliant fun, spacious with loads of storage and well enough kitted out for 3/4 days. Looking forward to next time.

Booking and confirmation was easy. Communication prior to trip was very good. Prior departure training very informative. Plenty of space for 5 of us and all kitchen equipment and necessities provided.

Our trip was long-delayed due to COVID. LeBoat worked with us every step of the way. Pre-trip planning and advice was excellent and they answered all of our questions promptly. On-site in Belgium, Bieke gave us spot-on advice, maps of each city, and the time required to ensure a good trip. Mr. Thibeault provided excellent training on the boat. All six bikes were in top-notch order. We could not have asked for more. Their performance was sterling. We ran for one week up through Diiksmuide to Yepres which was, at times emotional. We went to WWW1 museums and sites. We took the tram to the coast to do the Atlantic Wall museum. We sat down with Bieke a second time to prepare for our week in Bruges and Ghent. The food was fabulous. The beer and brewery tours were all enjoyable. We went to chocolate museums, a lace museum, a Belgian fry museum, and many, many churches. The bikes were a really good, and much used option. We ate three meals a day on-board, and the fourth one out. The maps that were provided for the canals and the cities were also most appreciated. Sadly, there was a dirth of fondu items on Elegance, but fortunately, at 3 Euro a set, they were quickly obtained and left for future travelers. There were two nice big frying pans in the galley, so crepes were available at all times! The team at leBoat really did a great job!

Service was great boat wasn’t as clean on collecting as we left it super clean on delivery at base, mark the engineer was superb we had a breakdown and technician was there within 45 min which I think was very good service , all in all it was a fabulous trip and a great experience we will hopefully return to do it again the staff at the base in Hesse was super friendly and helpful in general , pre trip communication was very good the area is spectacular gorgeous scenery and the boat lift at Arzvillier quite the experience Cool boat perfect for 4 people

Good team, really friendly and always happy to help. The boats were modern and well laid out and everything worked. That said the new hob based toaster wasn't great. The boat was great, the main living area was spacious with two separate seating / dining areas. The patio door to the back and good steps onto the roof top patio / driving position. The kitchen is compact but perfectly workable. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, which is good. The canal route its self if really nice, with interesting lochs and smaller canal sections joining them together. All in all a really nice holiday.
